Testing Information and Links “When should I take the SAT or ACT?”As a Junior, it's a good idea to take the Fall PSAT, which is a practice test for the SAT. The scores are sent to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation which puts you in the running for National Merit scholarships. Also during your Junior year, take the SAT and ACT sometime in the Spring. You can take these tests as many times as you'd like, but it's recommended that you take them before your Senior year and then during Fall of your Senior year. Nearly all 4-year colleges require an ACT or SAT score. For information on the SATs, the PSATs, CLEP and AP Tests go to www.collegeboard.com and click on Students.SAT Test Dates and Registration Deadlines www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/calenfees.html PSAT Test Dates and Registration Deadlineswww.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/reg/dates.html CLEP Test Informationwww.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html AP Test Informationwww.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/about.html
