Welcome to the Big Muddy School Website.   The Big Muddy School is on a ranch in Antelope, Oregon.  Antelope is a  small town of only 54 people.  We live farther down the road on the Big Muddy Ranch.   In this website you will find some interesting facts about our school, our community, and our state. 

     Our school is called Big Muddy School.   It is a very small school of only eleven students and two teachers.  The eleven students are in nine grades, which are K-8.  There are six boys and five girls.  Our teacher is Miss Lorenzen and her assistant is Mrs. Spann.   Every day a parent who has a child going to school helps out. 
The classes that we take are: art, PE, music, computer, science, geography, reading and math. Every other Thursday a lady comes to read to the K-4th grade.  They call her the Reading Lady.   
Our school is a two-story building with many small rooms.   K-2nd graders stay downstairs but 3rd-8th  graders work upstairs.
