The Buffs exceeded most expectations this season, finishing 9-3 in league and 17-7 overall. Madras qualified for the state tournament after securing the #3 seed in the Tri-Valley League with a win over Valley Catholic. After an impressive
75-60 road win over the Bulldogs of North Bend, the boys faced off agianst Stayton on Saturday, March 4, for the right to go to Gill Coliseum in Corvallis for the Championship Tournament.

Madras Wrestling had a very successful season, breaking a school record sending 12 wrestlers to the state tournament. The team, as whole, finished 7th; Junior Cameron Rosenfield finished 2nd, while junior Corey Corrillo and senior Chris Monroe each took 3rd in their weight classes.

The season didn't quite go as planned for the Lady Buffs, finishing a disappointing 3-9 in
Tri-Valley League action. Next year's roster will return four starters, losing all-league wing Susan Ahern to graduation. The Lady Buffs hope to build on late season success as they begin preparing for next season.
